Schools have been asked to report by academic year as this is more meaningful for parents. Whilst the grant allocation is made on the basis of financial years, schools both plan teaching and other support and conduct assessments over the academic year.

Our pupil premium allocation has been used to provide a range of additional support for our children and these interventions have had a significant impact on children’s attainment.
We are very pleased with our KS2 results which show that the school is going from strength to strength. The results reflect the hard work of staff, excellent partnership working with parents and a determination to ensure that EVERY child succeeds.
Our key objective in using the Pupil Premium Grant is to narrow the gap between pupil groups. As a school we have a good track record of ensuring that pupils make good progress, but historically levels of attainment are lower for FSM (eligible for free school meals) – this is also a national trend.
